Team accounts & seats

Share a studio asset library across your studio, invite seats, manage permissions. Team plan only.

Team plan unlocks shared studio asset libraries and per-seat permissions. Built for studios sharing characters across multiple projects.

What Team adds over Pro

  • Shared studio asset library. Upload character sprites, mocap clips, body-shape presets to the studio library. Anyone with a seat can pull them into a new project.
  • Per-seat permissions. Designate seats as Owner, Editor, or Viewer. Editors can change projects; Viewers can only see and export.
  • Centralised billing. One payment method, one invoice, multiple seats.
  • Activity feed. See which seat edited which project and when.

Inviting seats

  1. Settings → Team.
  2. + Invite member. Enter their email and role.
  3. They receive an email with a sign-up link. If they already have a Charios account, they sign in and the seat attaches to their existing user.
  4. Adding a seat increases your monthly invoice pro-rated to the day they joined.

Removing seats

Settings → Team → click the seat → Remove. Their access ends immediately. Their projects don't disappear — they're transferred to the team owner. If the seat was billed in the current cycle, the unused portion pro-rates back to your next invoice.

Shared library best practices

  • Name conventions. Pick a naming convention before uploading anything — <character>__<bodypart>__<state>.png. Studio libraries grow fast; structure matters.
  • Variants per character. Use AI variants to populate alternate skins for each character; tag the variants by environment (forest, dungeon, snow).
  • Versioning. When updating a shared sprite, append a version suffix rather than overwriting — projects already using the old sprite won't break.
