Charios Referral Program Terms

These terms govern the Charios Referral Program ("the Program"). By creating a referral link in your dashboard you agree to them. We may update them at any time; the version that applied at the time you earned a commission is the version that governs that commission.

   01Eligibility

   Anyone with a Charios account in good standing can join. You must be at least 18 years old or have your guardian's consent in your local jurisdiction. You may not participate if you live in a country we can't legally send money to (currently OFAC-sanctioned regions).

   02Commission

   You earn 30% of the subtotal of every paid Charios order placed by a customer attributed to you — for the lifetime of that customer. That covers Pro subscription renewals, the lifetime deal, and credit top-up packs. Tax that customers pay (VAT, GST, US state sales tax) is excluded from the commissionable amount.

   The commission rate may be changed for future orders only. Commissions already earned at a prior rate are honoured at that rate.

   03Attribution

   When someone clicks your /r/<your-code> link we set a first-party cookie that lasts 60 days. If they create a Charios account within that window — and they don't already have one — they're attributed to you for life, regardless of which link they click later.

   If a customer's very first Charios account already exists when they click your link, no attribution is created. We never overwrite an existing pin.

   04Self-referrals and fraud

   You may not refer yourself, members of your immediate household, or accounts you control. Coupon-stacking sites, doorway pages, paid-search campaigns on Charios-branded keywords, cookie-stuffing, and any form of incentivised clicks are prohibited. Violation is grounds for forfeiture of unpaid commissions and termination from the Program.

   05Holding period

   Commissions sit in pending status for 30 days after they're earned. During that window we may reverse a commission if the customer refunds, charges back, or is found to have signed up fraudulently. After the window, the commission is approved and locked.

   06Payouts

   Minimum payout is $50.00 of approved balance. Request payouts from your dashboard; we send via Wise or PayPal within 7 business days. You're responsible for the accuracy of your payout email — payments sent to the email on file are considered delivered. Any fees charged by the payment processor on the receiving side are yours.

   You're responsible for any taxes owed on Program income in your jurisdiction. Charios does not withhold or report taxes on your behalf.

   07Termination

   You can quit at any time by emailing hello@charios.com. We can suspend or terminate your participation at any time if you breach these terms. Approved (but unpaid) balances at termination are paid out within 30 days unless terminated for fraud.

8. 8

   08Independent contractor

   The Program does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and Charios. You may not represent yourself as a Charios employee or sign documents on our behalf.

   09Limitation of liability

   To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under the Program is capped at the sum of approved commissions earned by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
